ThoughtFocus Expands AI Innovation with ThoughtFocus Lab and AI Czar Office to Deliver Client-Focused AI Solutions

19/03/2026,
Bengaluru :
ThoughtFocus, a global provider of digital
services and technology solutions, today announced the expansion of its
artificial intelligence innovation initiatives with the launch of
ThoughtFocus Lab,
an evolution of the company’s earlier ThoughtFocus Build (TFBuild) program. The
company also announced the formalization of its AI Czar Office, led by Bradley
Clerkin, AI Czar at ThoughtFocus, to strengthen leadership around the company’s
growing AI initiatives and accelerate enterprise adoption of artificial
intelligence across its platforms, delivery organization, and client
engagements.

Originally
launched as TFBuild, the initiative was designed to accelerate experimentation
and engineering around emerging technologies and applied AI. Through TFBuild,
ThoughtFocus teams have been developing internal platforms, prototyping
solutions, and exploring practical use cases that address real client and
industry challenges.

Building
on the success of TFBuild, ThoughtFocus is now expanding the scale and impact
of these efforts through ThoughtFocus Lab, which will serve as a focal point
for the company’s ongoing work in applied AI innovation, industry-focused
solution development, and enterprise-grade technology engineering. The
initiative brings together engineers, domain experts, and AI practitioners who
have been driving these efforts to further accelerate the development of
solutions that can be rapidly deployed to address enterprise and industry
needs.

“At
ThoughtFocus, we believe the real power of AI lies in how it empowers people to
solve complex problems and deliver greater value for our clients,” said Nick
Sharma, CEO of ThoughtFocus. “The evolution of TFBuild into ThoughtFocus Lab
and the formalization of the AI Czar Office reflect our commitment to equipping
our teams with the capabilities needed to turn AI innovation into practical
solutions for our customers. For us, AI is about amplifying human expertise so
we can help organizations navigate real business challenges and unlock new
opportunities.”

The
AI Czar Office, led by Bradley Clerkin, formalizes the leadership structure
guiding ThoughtFocus’ AI initiatives across engineering, innovation, and
delivery. Avinash Dongre, Vice President of Engineering, AI and Innovation, who
has been closely involved in advancing ThoughtFocus’ AI engineering
initiatives, will continue to play a key role within the AI Czar Office,
working alongside engineering and innovation teams to ensure that AI
capabilities continue to evolve from experimentation to enterprise deployment.

As
part of strengthening its AI leadership ecosystem, ThoughtFocus also announced
that Gayathri Devi Jayan (GD) has partnered with the company as AI Strategist
and Consultant.

GD
is the Founder of AIDVICE, an AI advisory firm focused on helping enterprises
navigate the adoption and operationalization of applied and responsible AI. She
also serves as the Chapter President, India, for the Applied AI Association,
where she works with a global community of practitioners, researchers,
academicians, and technology leaders to advance industry dialogue around
applied AI and responsible AI governance. She was recognized by The Economic
Times AI
as one of the Top 5 Women Leaders in AI for her contributions to
advancing applied AI and enterprise adoption.

GD
brings more than three decades of leadership experience in the global
technology and engineering services industry, having held senior leadership
roles across organizations including Wipro, L&T Technology Services,
Cognizant, Verizon, and Virtusa. Throughout her career she has led large-scale
digital transformation initiatives, technology strategy programs, and global
delivery organizations across multiple industries.

In
her role with ThoughtFocus, GD will work closely with the AI Czar Office,
including Bradley Clerkin and Avinash Dongre, as well as the delivery
organization to help further embed AI into how ThoughtFocus builds solutions,
develops talent, and engages with clients. Her focus will include advancing the
TFGPT platform, strengthening AI capability development and learning programs,
and supporting ThoughtFocus’ broader efforts to ensure that AI becomes an
integral part of how teams across the organization innovate and deliver value
for customers.

Madan
Mewari, who leads delivery at ThoughtFocus, will work closely with the AI Czar
Office and engineering teams to operationalize these initiatives across client
programs and internal platforms, ensuring that innovations emerging from
ThoughtFocus Lab translate into scalable solutions that help clients address
real business challenges.

Together,
ThoughtFocus Lab, the AI Czar Office, and the company’s expanded AI leadership
ecosystem represent a significant step in ThoughtFocus’ efforts to scale
applied AI innovation and help enterprises harness AI responsibly to solve
industry problems and create measurable business value.
